Description
This work was made as a poster protesting the Vietnam war draft. It is one of six works Diebenkorn made expressing his opposition to that war (see cats. 3970 through 3974). He also created an anti-Vietnam war painting in 1966 for the Los Angeles Artists' Protest Committee (cat. 3650).
